What the actual fuck is wrong with Brian Kilmeade? What kind of festering, soulless cretin thinks a comment like this is remotely acceptable — to suggest that homeless people should be given involuntary lethal injection? That’s not “commentary.” That’s not “satire.” That’s genocidal fucking hate speech dressed up as a joke for the Fox News crowd, and it makes me sick to my fucking stomach. I’ve known homeless people for years. People with stories, pain, resilience, humor, and more compassion in their little finger than pricks like Kilmeade will ever scrape together in their entire rotten lives. I’ve seen people offer their last piece of food to someone hungrier than them, even when they had nothing. I’ve seen more humanity in a homeless shelter than you’ll ever see in a fucking Fox studio. And here comes this smug, overpaid talking head who’s never had to worry about where he’ll sleep tonight, who’s never wondered if he’ll be beaten or frozen to death on the street and his big contribution to public discourse is: “lethal injection.” Do you fucking hear yourself, Kilmeade? Do you even understand what you’re saying? That you think people who’ve already been ground down by poverty, trauma, abuse, mental illness, and a system designed to fucking fail them — that those people should just be killed off like they’re vermin? You sick, inhuman bastard. This isn’t just a “bad take.” This is extermination-level rhetoric. This is the same poisonous dehumanizing shit that’s been used to justify atrocities throughout history. Once you convince people that the poor, the marginalized, the homeless, the addicted are “less than human,” it’s a short, slippery fucking slide into violence. And Kilmeade just poured grease all over it, grinning for the cameras while he did it. Let me be absolutely clear: the homeless people I’ve worked with were some of the most beautiful, kind, and compassionate souls I’ve ever known. People who’d been failed by governments, in Birmingham some of the people I knew had water poured on their sleeping bags in sub zero temperatures. I’ve known others who had their sleeping bags set on fire whilst they were sleeping inside it— and yet they still showed up with more grace and generosity than most middle-class folks could ever dream of. If you can look at those people and think “kill them,” then you don’t deserve to be called human. You’re a fucking ghoul. Fuck you, Brian Kilmeade. Fuck you for punching down on the most vulnerable. Fuck you for making hate palatable for ratings. And fuck Fox News for giving you a platform to spread your bile. Homelessness is not a crime. Poverty should not be a death sentence. And if this is the level of “debate” we’re supposed to accept from mainstream media, then we’re all in deep fucking trouble. You want to fix homelessness? Try treating people like they matter.
